What PriceTeq is

Buying a laptop or a phone usually means opening a dozen shop tabs and still not knowing whether you paid too much: the same model can cost very different amounts from one shop to the next. PriceTeq does that part for you. It reads the online shops in each market every night, matches the same product across them, and shows every shop's price with the lowest first.

Prices are shown the way the shop shows them, in the market's own currency, with VAT included where the country charges it. Each product keeps its price history, so a "sale" can be checked against what the shop charged before. PriceTeq is free and needs no account; an optional account only adds saved products and price-drop alerts.

Our one rule

The cheapest price always comes first. No shop can pay to look cheaper than it is, to move above a lower price, or to hide a competitor. A paid placement, where a shop buys one, is labelled as such.

    Every night we read the listings and prices of the online electronics shops in each market.

    We work out which listings are the same model and configuration, shop by shop.

    The same product is shown cheapest-first, and every price links to that shop's own page.

We do not sell anything

PriceTeq is not a shop. Every price links to the shop's own product page, and you buy from the shop, at the shop's price, under the shop's terms. Always confirm the price and the product with the shop before you pay.
