LCD-5 Planar Magnetic Headphone

The Audeze LCD-5, launched in September 2021, is Audeze’s flagship open-back planar magnetic headphone, engineered for ultimate transparency and resolution. It features new 90mm drivers with Fluxorâ„¢ magnets, Facet-Cutâ„¢ Fazorâ„¢ waveguides, and Parallel Uniforceâ„¢ voice coils for exceptionally low distortion and precise sound. A major breakthrough is its ultra-lightweight design, at just 420 grams, thanks to materials like magnesium, acetate, and carbon fiber, ensuring supreme comfort. Its neutral, highly resolving sound signature delivers pinpoint imaging, deep bass, and extended, articulate highs, making it ideal for critical listening and mastering. With a 14 Ohm impedance and 90 dB/1mW sensitivity, the LCD-5 benefits from powerful amplification. Premium leather earpads and a directional OCC copper cable complete this meticulously crafted, high-performance headphone, setting a new standard for sonic accuracy and ergonomic design.
