LCD-3 Open-back Headphones

The Audeze LCD-3 Open-back Headphones, released in late 2011, are a testament to Audeze’s planar magnetic excellence. They feature large 106mm planar magnetic drivers with ultra-thin diaphragms and efficient magnet arrays, incorporating Fazor technology (in later revisions) for enhanced clarity and imaging. Renowned for their luxuriously spacious and musical sound signature, the LCD-3 delivers powerful, controlled bass, a rich midrange, and extended, articulate highs. Its open-back design creates a wide, natural soundstage, ideal for critical listening. Crafted with hand-selected Zebrano wood earcups and a comfortable steel and leather suspension headband, these headphones are built for extended listening sessions. With a 110 Ohm impedance and 101dB/1mW sensitivity, they benefit from a high-quality amplifier. The LCD-3 remains a highly respected choice for audiophiles seeking an immersive, high-resolution, and engaging sonic experience.
