SR-L300 Electrostatic Headphones

The Stax SR-L300 Electrostatic Headphones offer an exceptional entry point into the world of Stax’s renowned electrostatic “earspeakers.” Utilizing a push-pull electrostatic oval sound element with a hand-selected thin-film diaphragm and tough stainless fixed electrodes, the SR-L300 delivers a remarkably clear, detailed, and balanced sound across an expansive 7 Hz−41,000 Hz frequency range. Designed for comfortable, extended listening, these open-back headphones feature a lightweight build with a stepless adjustable headband and high-quality synthetic leather earpads. The SR-L300 comes with a fixed 2.5-meter low-capacitance OFC cable, optimized for electrostatic signal transmission. With a sensitivity of 101 dB and requiring a 580V DC Pro bias, it ensures a transparent and natural audio experience. It’s crucial to note that like all Stax electrostatic headphones, the SR-L300 requires a dedicated electrostatic amplifier (energizer) to operate. This combination unlocks the SR-L300’s ability to provide a taste of high-end electrostatic fidelity, celebrated for its speed, resolution, and airy soundstage.
